Located in the Risley Residence Building, Risley Dining Hall is an all-you-care-to-eat dining service, featuring unique stations that offer a wide variety of food choices to fit all our student’s needs.

Have a recipe you are in love with and want to share with the Dalhousie community? With Tiger's Choice, you become the chef!  It's simple, submit a recipe to our email: Food@Dal.ca. Your dish may be featured in the dining hall!


Meal-To-Go

This program is designed to offer meal plan holders the option to plan ahead and take a meal to go. When your busy schedule prevents you from being able to dine at meal times, just fill out this form to have a meal pre-made and ready for takeout. To place your order, pick up and sign the form from check-ins at your dining hall before 6pm. You will be able to select a preferred pickup time and date. These need to be submitted 24 hours before expected pickup.

Dietary Restrictions or Severe Allergies?

We do not use any peanut or tree nuts in our recipes, and we do not purchase products with peanuts or tree nuts in the ingredient list. However, please note that there is always a risk of cross contamination due to our open kitchens. Hence, we advise our guests with food allergies to communicate their food allergies to our chefs and registered dietitian prior to dining at our meal halls. Questions?
